Spray finishing
We provide specialist spray finishing for kitchens, wardrobes, doors and fitted joinery across West London and Essex. Spray application delivers a flawless factory-grade finish that hand brushing cannot replicate: completely free of brush marks, with a uniform film build and an exceptionally durable, wipeable surface. Fixed carcasses, frames and architectural mouldings are masked and sprayed in place under full dust containment, while doors and drawer fronts are taken off-site to be sprayed flat before being re-hung, aligned and handed over once cured.

What is not included
- New doors, worktops, hinges and handles, unless the specification includes them. We are happy to order them for you or to leave you to it, whichever you prefer, and we confirm anything we buy with you first
- Stripping of a failed previous coating back to bare timber where it cannot be keyed and primed, which is priced as a named provisional sum after survey
- Colour matching to a physical sample without an agreed written colour reference

Is a sprayed finish better than a brushed one?
For a kitchen or a wardrobe, yes. Spraying lays an even film with no brush marks and a harder, more wipeable surface, which is what a factory-finished door has. For panelling, skirting and period joinery a brushed finish is often right, and we say which suits each surface at survey.
Can you spray our kitchen in place?
Yes, in part. We mask the carcasses, end panels and plinths and spray them where they stand. The doors and drawer fronts come away to be sprayed flat, and they come back when they have cured. The kitchen is out of full use for the spraying days, and you can use it between coats.
How long does a kitchen take?
A typical kitchen respray takes five working days. A fitted wardrobe run takes three days, and a complete set of internal flat doors takes two. These figures represent active working time rather than total kitchen downtime, and your formal quotation includes a clear programme showing exactly when each area is in use.
Will the finish last?
A sprayed finish over a properly keyed and primed door carries our five-year warranty. It does not cover accidental damage, normal wear and tear, staining from tea, coffee, wine or oils, damage from cleaning products or commercial use. None of it affects your statutory rights. The survey names the substrate before the system, because the finish is only as good as what we spray it onto.

Frequently asked questions
Can you spray laminate or vinyl-wrapped doors?
Yes, with an adhesion primer. We recommend Caparol Haftprimer for it. Laminate and vinyl wrap are difficult substrates and the manufacturer asks for a trial coating first, so we spray a test patch and check the adhesion before we commit to the run. If it will not hold, we tell you rather than spray it anyway.
Do we need to empty the kitchen?
We clear as much as we can and mask everything that stays. Appliances come out where they can come out, because a masked appliance in a sprayed room is a risk we would rather not take. You empty the cupboards and the worktops before we start, and we do the rest.
What sheen can we have?
Matt, eggshell, satin or gloss, in any colour. We recommend spraying a sample door for approval first, and some clients would rather go straight ahead.
Do you spray on site or take the doors away?
Both. Carcasses, end panels and plinths remain in place, fully masked and sprayed under extraction. Doors and drawer fronts are carefully unhung, catalogued and taken off-site to be sprayed flat, which is the standard method for achieving a uniform, run-free finish. Once cured, we return, re-hang and adjust every component.
